Meet Doug Mutai
Doug Mutai, a trailblazer in the Kenyan comedy scene, has a rich background in entertainment and the performing arts. With experience in various comedic formats, across continents, Doug has appeared on Showmax, CBC Canada and BBC world radio amongst others.
Doug founded Standup Collective out of a passion and a need to elevate local talent and industry creating spaces for laughter. Fueled by the belief that comedy can unify and inspire, he set out to launch Nairobi’s first full-time comedy club, which has since become a cultural landmark.
